Portugal, Braga and currently living in UK Manchester.

Movies, music, art, photography, feelings.
4. How was your path until this moment? How did you start?
All my life I’ve been incredibly passionate about storytelling. Since the times that I used to wake up early in the mornings of Saturdays to watch cartoons and read comic books until today. I started in Portugal studying Multimedia Design at ESAD in Porto in pursue of any possible contact with the entertainment industry. Unfortunately, very early I discovered that in order to move faster with my education towards the film and game industry I had to study aboard.
Through the advice of a teacher at ESAD I discovered FZD school founded by the concept artist Feng Thu.At FZD I learned the fundamentals of drawing and designing through a one-year hardcore entertainment industrial design approach which allowed me to develop an industry ready portfolio by the end.
(…) very early I discovered that in order to move faster with my education towards the film and game industry I had to study aboard.
6 months later after graduating, I got the opportunity to work at Crytek, the Crysis franchise developers. This was my first job in the game industry where I would be challenged since day one which led me to solidify my design fundamentals knowledge and overall skills. There I learn the meaning of “semantics” and its power in order to convey ideas in your works in a subtle and subconscious dialogue with the audience.
After 2 years of hard work with amazing professionals, I decided to leave due to an abrupt financial crisis in the company and personal issues. I moved to Manchester in order to work with the amazing and talented developers of Star Citizen at Foundry 42, where I ‘ve been growing and learning new processes every day!
5. Where do you see yourself next?
I see myself in the film industry since that’s been my main goal ever since I started and hopefully eventually developing my own projects.
