(All artists have to answer the same 10 questions.)
1. First and Last Name
2. Where are you from? And where are you currently living?
I’m from Austria and I am based in Vienna. Currently I am spending winter in Geneva, Switzerland.
3. What’s your main influences?
Spending time outdoors and reading books. It doesn’t matter so much where I go or which book I read though. These activities just make me think a lot. I try to stay away from the computer as long as I can during the concept phase of a project.
When it comes to finding visual references I browse through Behance and Pinterest a lot.
4. How was your path until this moment? How did you start?
Like many other creative professionals I loved to draw and paint as a child. When I was a teenager I first experimented with design, video and 3D animation. Around that time I decided that I wanted to become a graphic designer. I studied Information Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Graz, Austria. This was where I first got to know the world of Motion Design. For me it perfectly combined graphic design, animation and film and i was hooked immediately. I did an internship at Frame in Copenhagen and after some time of traveling and freelancing I decided to do an MA in Graphic Moving Image at London College of Communication. After the MA I started working as a Motion Designer at Mainframe and later Future Deluxe. After 3 years I left London and went back to Austria where I started freelancing full-time.

5. Where do you see yourself next?
I am currently in the process of co-founding a moving image collective in Austria which is really exciting. I want to keep mixing live action and design, that’s what I like most, but also focus more on film direction. Most importantly I want to keep enjoying the process of creating things.
I want to keep enjoying the process of creating things.
6. Knowing what you know now, what would be your advice for people in the same area?
Be kind to yourself. Walk through life with eyes wide open and experiment as much as you can.

9. And 3 things you don’t
